킨 에피소드4 : 신탁의 비밀

Billy Blaze toils in his backyard workshop, busily constructing his latest invention : the photachyon Transceiver. Put in simple words, it is instantaneous radio -- point to anywhere in the galaxy and you can pick up a signal as if you were right there. After picking up a lot of very bad alien sitcoms, Billy hears a strange message, spoken in the language of Omnispeak that the Vorticons taught him....

빌리 블레이즈는 그의 집 뒷마당 작업장에서 최신 발명품을 만들고 있었습니다. : '포타키온 통신기'. 쉽게 말하면, 순간 라디오입니다. -- 은하의 아무 곳이나 가리키면 신호를 받을 수 있습니다. 이후 빌리는 많은 메시지를 듣던중, 이상한 메시지를 들었습니다....

 

brrzzz....giggg....oment of great triumph...frzzt....ast the Milky Way will be... huzzzzz...terly destroyed...pyuneeeeeeg...can stop us now. We will remake the galaxy in the name of the Gannalech. Power to our race! Power to the Shikadi!
지직....지직....승리의 순간....지직....은하수 지나서...지직...파괴한...지직....지금 막을 수 있습니다. 우리는 '가넬레치'의 이름으로 은하계를 다시 만들 것입니다. 우리의 힘을! '시카디'의 힘을!

Then the radio is silent.
그리곤 라디오는 조용해졌습니다.

"So the Shikadi are planning to destroy the Galaxy, huh?" thinks Billy. "Sounds like a job for...COMMANDER KEEN!"

"'시카디'가 은하계를 파괴할 계획인건가?" 빌리는 생각합니다. "이런 일은 커맨더 킨이 나서야지!"

 

Billy once again dons his brother's football helmet, contemplating three questions :

빌리는 다시 한번 형의 풋볼 헬멧을 착용하고는, 세가지 의문을 가졌습니다. :

 

Who the heck ARE the Shikadi?

Where are they?

How are they planning to destroy the galaxy?

'시카디'는 누구일까?

그들은 어디에 있지?

그들은 어떻게 은하계를 파괴할 생각이지?

 

Climbing into the Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket's cockpit, Billy sets up the launch sequence for Gnosticus IV, the home of the Gnosticenes, guardians of the Oracle. They owe him a favor, and he needs to get some questions answered. The launch sequence begins....

빌리는 '빈 위드 베이컨 메가 로켓'의 조종석으로 올라가서, 신탁의 수호자 '그노스티코스'의 고향인 '그노스티코스 IV' 행성으로 갈 준비를 합니다.

 

"Suppertime, Billy" announces his mom as she walks out to the workshop.
"저녁먹으렴, 빌리" 그의 엄마가 그에게 말했습니다.

"Aw, nuts!" spouts Billy. He realizes there isn't enough time to stop the sequence and cover the ship!
Thinking quickly, he pulls out his Neural Stunner, points it at the door, and waits.
"아, 네!" 빌리가 말했습니다. 그는 우주선을 숨길 시간이 충분하지 않다는 것을 알고 있었습니다. 그는 빠르게 생각하면서, 신경 마비 총을 가지고, 문 뒤에서 기다립니다.

One "Zzzzap!" later and his Mom is frozen in the doorway.

"지직!" 그러자 그의 엄마는 출입구에서 얼어버렸습니다.

 

"Whew," says Keen.
"휴." 킨은 말합니다.

"Honey? What's the matter?" says Billy's dad, coming out the back door.

"여보? 무슨일 있어?" 빌리의 아빠가 말하면서, 뒷문으로 다가옵니다.

"Double nuts!" mutters Billy. He peeks past his mom, takes aim and....

"한번 더!" 빌리는 중얼거립니다. 그는 엄마를 바라봅니다. 조준을 하고....

 

Once at Gnosticus IV, a Council Page runs up to him.
'그노스티코스 IV' 의회에서 '페이지'가 왔습니다.

"Oh, Captain Keen!" he begins.

"아, 커맨더 킨님!" 그가 말했습니다.

"That's Commander Keen" Billy corrects.

"네." 빌리가 말했습니다.

"The Shikadi were here, and they kidnapped the members of the High Council and took them to the Shadowlands far to the west."

"'시카디'가 쳐들어왔어요. 그리고 그들이 고대인들을 납치해서, 서쪽 멀리 그림자 땅으로 데려갔어요."

 

"They didn't kill them?" Keen asks.
그들이 그들을 죽였나요? 킨은 대답했습니다.

"Impossible. They are immortal," says the page.
"So they just made sure they weren't available to activate the Oracle."

"불가능해요. 그들은 죽지 않아요" 페이지가 말합니다.

"그래서 그들은 신탁을 활성화할 수 있는지만 확인했어요."

"Well, I'll just go get them," Keen says, turning with heroic determination.

"음, 내가 그들을 데려올게요." 킨은 결심을 하며, 말했습니다.

 

"Um, but Captain Keen, they also left a bunch of horrible creatures and traps to guard them," says the Council Page.
"음, 근데, 커맨더 킨님, 그들에게는 끔찍한 생물과 함정들이 있어요." '페이지가 말합니다.

"Well, I'll just go get them CAREFULLY, then," Keen says over his shoulder.
"음, 조심해서 다녀올게요." 킨이 말했습니다.

Keen turns to walk out the door, stops, turns and addresses the page.

킨은 문 밖으로 걸어가서, 멈추고는 '페이지'에게 말했습니다.

 

"And if you call me Captain Keen again, I'm talking you with me."
"당신이 믿어주었으니, 내가 해결하겠어요."

Keen boldly heads out the door as the page mutters, "Sorry."
킨이 문을 나서자 '페이지'가 말합니다. "미안해요."

Commander Keen hops in his Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket and heads for the Shadowlands....

커맨더 킨은 '빈 위드 베이컨 메가 로켓'을 타고 그림자 땅으로 향합니다.
